Crow Canyon Country Club, Danville, California

Since taking office in January, Congressman Eric Swalwell has been focused on creating local jobs, growing our economy and protecting the middle class. He recently introduced two common-sense bills that will improve our economy, create incentives for the creation of jobs in our local communities and support U.S. companies that break into a new and growing industry:

  1. The Main Street Revival Act that helps small businesses start and grow in targeted distressed neighborhoods.
  2. The Securing Energy Critical Elements and American Jobs Act of 2013 helps the U.S. develop technical expertise and production capabilities to assure a secure and sustainable supply of energy critical elements necessary in everyday electronics like smart phones and flat screen tvs.
    The San Francisco Chronicle
editorialized about his bill and wrote that it is a “. . . wise idea.” And that “It’s time for this idea to break ground.”

Tim Sbranti, Dublin Mayor

Our second speaker is Tim Sbranti who is the Mayor of Dublin and a candidate for Assembly in 2014.
