More than 40,000 come to Danville to watch the parade!
The one-mile parade route is crammed 10 people deep!

Meeting Time: 8:00 – 8:30 AM
Meeting Place: in front of San of San Ramon Valley High School
Note: some streets close at 6:30 AM
Parade begins at 9:00 AM
Walk is about 30-60 minutes
Walking with us will be Moms Demand Action, Contra Costa MoveOn, Lesbians of Rossmoor and the Tri-Valley Democratic Club. We will walk and hand out candy to the children. Be sure to arrive at the staging area as early as possible. The parade starts at 9 AM and we will likely be one of the earlier groups to walk.
The walking only 30 – 60 minutes. It is a wonderful experience. Don’t let the Republicans outnumber us! Show the citizens of Danville that we do have Democrats living here. Join us and ENJOY!

After the march, we will gather at one of our members’ home just 1 block from the end of the parade. What a great time to relax and enjoy light refreshments and cool drinks. We can then carpool back to our cars at the other end of the town.
