The San Ramon Valley Democratic Club invites you to meet the candidates. The candidate for Contra Costa County Sheriff, Ben Therriault is President of the Richmond Police Officers Association which is the union of the Richmond Police. He is Native American and was raised on the Flathead Indian Reservation in western Montana. He served in the Air Force before becoming a Richmond police officer. Ben hopes to help bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community through communication.
Devin Murphy
Devin Murphy is the Mayor Pro Tem of Pinole. After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he served as Student Body President, he used his digital organizing career fo criminal justice reform, progressive tax reform, voting rights, and climate justice. He is passionate about civic engagement. 
Kristin Connelly
Vicki Gordon
Kristin Connelly is the President of the East Bay Leadership Council. She was admitted to the New York State Bar and graduate of UCLA, Georgetown University’s Public Policy Institute and Fordham University School of Law. She wants to ensure fair, impartial and accessible elections.
Vicki Gordon majored in business at Cal State Sacramento, and has her teaching credential from Cal State University East Bay. She has been a Board Member of the Mount Diablo Unified School District and has been a Board member of the Contra Costa Community College Board for nine years.
