Chain of Title gives details about what led to many people experiencing severe hardship due to foreclosure of their homes during the recession. The book gives stories of three people: a cancer nurse, a car dealership worker, and an insurance fraud specialist who helped uncover the largest consumer crime in American history—a scandal that implicated dozens of major executives on Wall Street. They called it foreclosure fraud: millions of families were kicked out of their homes based on false evidence by mortgage companies that had no legal right to foreclose.

Dayen is based in southern California, so we are lucky to have the opportunity to hear the author discuss his book and the real issues about which we progressives are concerned. Come to hear a discussion about the failure of deregulation and the needed reforms which we must fight to secure.

Book available for purchase and signing with the author after the presentation!
