The DPCCC Holiday Party on December 12, 2019 was a huge success!
California Democratic Party Chair Rusty Hicks gave a great speech explaining about how Contra Contra County was one of 15 countries in California chosen to receive California Democratic Party money to open a Campaign Office to help our candidates. “NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW” Rally in Walnut Creek.
The Impeach and Remove Rally in Walnut Creek on December 17 had more than 700 attendees!
The Rally took place the evening before the House vote on the Articles of Impeachment. More than 1200 people signed up to come. People from Danville, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Berkeley and Oakland came with their great signs. We filled all four corners of Main Street and Mt. Diablo Blvd. We chanted about impeaching Trump and passing cars honked in agreement. People came who had never attended anything political before! They heard about the event from listening to Rachel Maddow who gave the web site on which people could find a local event.
