Honoring Members Barney & Peggy Rubin

The San Ramon Valley Democrats gathered at the home of Jim and Coni Donnelly for the club’s annual BBQ. It was a feast with members bringing many delicious side dishes, salads, desserts, and Jim serving smoked salmon and halibut, and BBQing chicken and Tri-Tip.
What made this BBQ special was that we were honoring members Peggy and Barney Rubin who reinvigorated the club many years ago when it had lacked vision and momentum. With the leadership of Peggy and Barney the club has thrived and is a important fundraising and volunteer base for local and national Democratic campaigns. Thank you Peggy and Barney.
