A TRIBUTE TO HARRY BRIDGES
& the International Longshore-Warehouseman’s Union

“From Wharf Rats, ” a play about Harry Bridges and the International Longshore-Warehouseman’s Union and the impacts it has had on West Coast shipping. This presentation has been shown to high reviews on KQED and other PBS stations. He will also perform parts from “To Begin the World Over Again: the Life of Thomas Paine.”

Local Speaker: Mary Perez, Executive Director and Founder of “Christmas for Everyone.” Last year 2700 needy people in the Concord and surrounding areas were served a hot dinner, given a warm coat, and allowed to select a gift. We are asking our members to bring a lightly worn winter coat to the dinner as a donation to this worthy cause.
