The San Ramon Valley Democratic Club is thrilled that there are two candidates for Assembly District 16. The excitement of having two outstanding candidates will energize this campaign to give it the attention it deserves.
This is our club’s opportunity to educate the voters about some of Baker’s bad decisions, for example, NOT voting in favor of a ban of guns on school campuses!
It is the candidates’ opportunity to inspire us, motivate us. Come hear the candidates share their vision and values and how those values will affect decisions on legislation that can improve our lives.
Rebecca Bauer-Kahan is an accomplished attorney in Orinda. She is also an environmental advocate, community volunteer, law professor and mother of three children!
Tom Tarantino is an attorney from Walnut Creek who works for Twitter as a Manager of Public Policy. He is a veteran of the Iraq war and was director of a veteran’s organization where he helped increase benefits for veterans.
