Eleni and Jeffrey are confirmed. Dr. Ed Hernandez is trying to rearrange his schedule to attend.

Eleni Kounalakis is a California businesswoman, Democratic Party activist, a wife and the mother of two teenage sons, and the former U.S. Ambassador to Hungary under President Barack Obama. Eleni was raised the proud daughter of an immigrant father who started out as a farmworker, and she believes in the values of hard work, education and political activism. Eleni is proud to be endorsed by U.S. Senator Kamala Harris and so many other distinguished leaders. She traveled to all 58 counties in California, really listening to the concerns of activists, working families, students and community leaders.

Jeff Bleich is a former top aide of President Obama, having served in his administration as special counsel to the President, U.S. Ambassador to Australia, and senior advisor. He’s led the board of California’s state universities, as well as leading the State Bar. For three decades, he has been devoted to meeting the needs of every Californian—especially those in the neglected middle-class—as a lawyer, teacher, and community leader. Now he’s back serving Californians again. Jeff is endorsed by Congressman Adam Schiff, Congresswoman Jackie Speier and Congressman Ro Khanna.

Ed Hernandez (or “Dr. Ed” as he is known to his patients) has spent his life serving the health care needs of the community he came from by bringing quality eye care to predominantly low-income communities in the San Gabriel Valley. Dr. Ed first ran for the California State Assembly’s 57th District in 2006, which at the time encompassed the area of Northeast Los Angeles County. He won the election and was subsequently re-elected in 2008. He has also served two terms as State Senator. He is endorsed by Congressman Ted Lieu and Congresswoman Karen Bass.

Please join us at 6:00 pm to talk about the latest political news and network.
