The San Ramon Valley Democratic Club is pleased to welcome Kim Geron, speaking on Election Analysis of SD7 & What to Expect in the California 2016 Elections. Professor Kim Geron began teaching at CSU East Bay in 1999 and is Chair of the Political Science Department. He received a B.A. in Labor Studies at CSU Dominguez Hills in 1992, and a Ph.D. in Political Science in 1998 at University of California, Riverside.
Professor Geron teaches courses in American politics, Public policy, Public administration and Race and Ethnic politics. His research interests include race and ethnic politics, the labor movement, social movements, and immigration policy. He is currently conducting research on the Asian American Movement, Latino politics, race and labor politics, and community based urban politics.
