Nora Pritivera, Immigration Attorney

Nora Privitera worked 25 years as an immigration lawyer.  Her first 12 years were in private practice, first with James Mayock and Associates and then as a sole practitioner.  She covered all kinds of immigration issues in her practice, including business immigration, family immigration, deportation, applications for US citizenship, political asylum, and deportation defense.  In the last half of her career, she worked for the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) in San Francisco. Her duties included advising other attorneys about their cases, in addition to conducting seminars and writing technical manuals on different topics in immigration law. With her retirement in 2013, she continues to keep up on developments in immigration law and retains her membership in the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association (AILA).
